I'm sorry, but I don't even know what lulz is. I am really out of touch with today's youth, despite the fact I am one of them. Smile

It's okay, Thracius. I would like a bit more, but I will just annex the rest, since I will have more money from industry.

The Great Japanese Empire, 大日本帝國.

Formed in 1837 when the great Shogun Katsu conquered all of Japan, the Empire is a relatively new nation. However, it is no less influencial for that, as it's booming textile industry and mastery of modern weaponry shows. Since then, the first Emperor has died, and his son, Daichi, has replaced him. He has designs on the fractured Qing dynasty in china, recently humiliated with defeat in the Opium wars. He looks to increase relations with strong seafaring nations, but is openly against those who seek to colonise East Asia.

Absolute Monarchy, current leader: Emperor Daichi

Estimated population: 35,000,000 (Japan had an estimated 33 million in 1870, so I expect it was around 29 million in 1850. That, plus my territory in Korea and Taiwan makes an estimated 35 million).

Couple of side notes:

I did the Asia map again, with the Dutch and the blue nation on it.

I won't be terribly active in this game.

Cool, I've taken the rest of korea then. Relations with Versailles not as bad anymore, relations with the Dutch bad still.
