As long as I get Epirus, I'm fine with it.

While we're at it why don't we add provinces? Easy to say where we're attacking and more easier to determine population instead of taking a portion of land and estimating.

This was proposed by Frederich Barbarossa several times in the past. Each time, the general opinion was a no.

Wel the population of all mainland Greece plus islands (no colonies included, not even those in Asia) was about 15 million.

So I think Athens and Sparta should cut down.

Papyrus for one, it was also a very important and fertile base for grain, at least around the Nile, along with cotton, sugar, wheat and corn. They also can mine gold and iron. As for population, it was probably about 7 million in the Nile valley (which is huge, considering most of our nations will have less than 1 million). I would suggest just choosing a city and the surrounding area (say, Memphis, Alexandria or Thebes) to start you off.

Probably, though there is still some more land around you which is fertile and fairly populated.

Its not Photobucket, all my images come out fine with it. But why use an image hosting site when you can just use the one on the forums? Added in my new faction, btw, I will update with info later. It's called the Kingdom of Epirus, though, and if the game starts in 300 BC, it is ruled by King Pyrrhos Aiakides.
